2. Information We Collect

The App collects only the minimum information necessary to create and maintain your account and to provide core app features.

A. User-Provided Information

When you sign in through Google Sign-In or Apple ID, we receive the following information to create your profile:

• Email address (for account identity)
• Display name (to personalize your experience)
• Profile photo URL (to display your avatar within the app)

No phone number or any additional information is collected.

B. Automatically Collected Information

Through Google Firebase services:

• Device information
• App activity & usage analytics
• Crash logs
• Performance diagnostics

No sensitive personal data (such as precise location, photos, contacts, or files) is collected.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for:

• To display your profile name and photo within the app interface
• To manage and validate your auto-renewable subscription status
• Creating and maintaining your account
• Enabling reading features within the app
• Improving reading experience (TTS, themes, font options)
• Debugging issues and improving performance
• Ensuring app security and preventing misuse

We do not use your data for advertising or marketing.

4. Subscription & Auto-Renewal

Our app offers auto-renewable subscriptions.

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Account at purchase confirmation.
• Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Play Store account settings.

5. Data Sharing

Your personal data is not shared with any third-party company.

Data is processed only through:

• Firebase Authentication
• Firebase Crashlytics / Analytics (if enabled)
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (only for reply notifications of the Help & Contact chat)

These services follow Google’s strict privacy policies.

We never sell or share your data for advertising or commercial purposes.

6. Help & Contact chat (सहायता-चैट)

The app has a Help & Contact chat (More → Help & Contact → Chat). Using it is optional. If you write to us there, the following is kept on our own server (vaidikapps.com, hosted on a Hostinger VPS in India) so that we can read and answer you:

• the name and message you send, and any picture you attach;
• if you are signed in, the email address and name of your Google or Apple account, attached to your message;
• a push token of your phone (Firebase Cloud Messaging, a Google service), used only to notify you when we reply.

Pictures are deleted automatically after 90 days and messages after 2 years. We do not sell or share this information with any third party; it is used only to answer you. To have your chat data removed earlier, write to support@vaidikapps.com.

7. Data Security

We take strong measures to keep your information safe:

• Account data is stored securely on Firebase servers; Help & Contact chat data is stored on our own server (see the Help & Contact chat section)
• All information is encrypted in transit and at rest
• Unauthorized access is strictly prevented

However, no electronic transmission is 100% secure; we strive to protect your data using industry standards.

8. Account Deletion

You may request to delete your account at any time.

On deletion:

• Your Firebase Authentication data is permanently removed
• Any stored usage data connected to your identity will be deleted

9. Children’s Privacy

This app is not designed for children under the age of 13,

and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us for immediate removal.

10. Third-Party Service Providers

The App uses the following trusted services:

• Apple StoreKit (For managing iOS In-App Purchases and Subscriptions)
• Google Firebase Authentication
• Firebase Crashlytics
• Firebase Analytics (optional)
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (reply notifications of the Help & Contact chat)
